Music Educator
Full-Time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver training in primary/ secondary schools, elder care and VWO organisations; according to the client’s requirements (e.g. prepare students’ progress report)
  • Coordinate to ensure project requirements are met and delivered to clients’ satisfaction
  • Manage and upkeep training resources and instruments
  • Inspire students/ participants in the area of creative arts
  • Create safe and inspiring environments for learning


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Dedicated and passionate in teaching
  • Possesses a good command of the English language and the ability to communicate with and effectively interact with learners of all ages
  • Possesses good classroom management skills
  • Expressive and uninhibited with the use of voice and body movements as tools of communication in class
  • Having prior teaching experience in a similar field would be an advantage

The Freelance Music Trainer role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, purpose-driven teaching opportunities. Freelancers contribute to inclusive music programmes across schools, disability centres, and academy-based sessions while managing their own schedules.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct music or creative arts lessons according to assigned time slots, which may include:

    • Instrumental sessions

    • Group ensembles

    • Creative music & movement

    • Inclusive arts programmes for special needs learners

  • Sessions will be matched based on your availability and skillset.

  • Deliver engaging and clear instructions adapted for learners of varied ages and abilities.

  • Implement positive classroom management and maintain a safe learning environment.

  • Prepare lesson materials and teaching aids for assigned sessions.

  • Complete basic documentation (attendance, brief updates to programme leads).

  • Adhere to scheduled commitments and communicate promptly with programme coordinators.
