Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver training in primary and secondary schools, eldercare centres and voluntary welfare organisations, in line with each client’s requirements (including preparing student progress reports)
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure project requirements are met and delivered to their satisfaction
  • Manage and maintain training resources and instruments
  • Inspire students and participants in creative arts
  • Create a safe and engaging environment for learning

Requirements

  • Good command of English and the ability to communicate effectively with learners of all ages
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Expressive and confident using voice and body movement to communicate in class
  • Prior teaching experience in a similar field is an advantage — but not required

No prior teaching experience? You’re welcome to apply as a Trainee Music Educator instead — we look forward to welcoming you too.

Music Educator

Ideal for individuals seeking flexible, purpose-driven teaching work. As a freelance Music Educator, you’ll contribute to inclusive music programmes across schools, disability centres and academy-based sessions, while managing your own schedule.

  • Apply positive classroom management and maintain a safe learning environment
  • Prepare lesson materials and teaching aids for assigned sessions
  • Complete basic documentation, such as attendance records and brief updates to programme leads
  • Keep to scheduled commitments and communicate promptly with programme coordinators

Requirements

  • Enjoys working with children, youths and adults of diverse abilities
  • Good command of English and the ability to communicate effectively with learners of all ages
