About the programme

For learners with special needs aged 16 and above, this ensemble takes handchimes further — collaborating, rehearsing and performing as a group, with each member carrying real musical responsibility.

Shared responsibility is what makes handchimes so powerful: the music only works when everyone plays their part. Members strengthen musical confidence, teamwork and advanced social skills, and regularly perform the pieces they have learned for family and community audiences.
